What a beautiful game, it was like the anti-thesis of last night. This was a fast, well played game in almost every respect, and only Paulie went hitless. I shudder in pity for the other teams hunting the Wild Card if we have just witnessed the resurgence of Jose Contreras tonight. Also, for the first time, I considered Alex Cintron a worthy DEFENSIVE replacement for Juan Uribe on his beautiful falling-away-Derek-Jeter-copyrighted throw to first. I didn't give him a chance to gun the runner, but it made it to first with plenty to spare.
