Game 112 Preview
Randy Johnson 11-9, 5.11 for the Yanks
vs.
Jon Garland 12-3, 4.99 for the Sox
Yet another big game for the Sox. They cannot afford a let down after last night's thriller. The Sox have stunk it up against lefites, but The Big Unit is struggling mightily. I think they can pull it off.
My Pick to Click - JD. More heroics for our MVP
DickDaStick - BA
Fornelli - Crede
James - Paulie
Tx Via Chicago and Pander - Gooch

Long time listener, first time caller...
Pick to Click = Gooch
Somebody please send some decent Chicago-style pizza to TX!
I agree with up there, Iguchi for ptc. He'll take a quick swing on a RJ fastball middle-in, whammo, 2 run homer that'll kickstart things.
Oh, and tx? I'm in corpus christi, closest I can do is buy those frozen Pizzaria Unos. Not as good as fresh, but still better than everything else. Still got a flaky crust as tender as a croissant, and the sauce above the cheese, so it works for me!
Welcome back pander!
I really appreciate the stuff you did at mid-season, I hope to see you around here a lot!
And welcome Tx Via Chicago! Glad to hear from you!
Glad to be here, thanks.
Moved to DFW from (gasp!) the north side two years ago. Wife's a Cub fan, but I swear I'm legit. She's even cool enough to have let me drop some serious coin to fly up for game 2 of the World Series...so she can have her Cubs.
Man crush for Crede is increasing.
I'm calling the end of the no-hitter in the fourth inning.
he has no hit stuff going, but we'll get to him
We have a pulse...Let's go Joe Clutch breathe some life into us
Wow. Another Paulie homer in the 9th would be nice...kinda hard to arrange given the order now, but hey, it'd be a good thing!
My man crush is developing into a man-love.
How bout a different P with a homer...What if Pods blasts one?
Or not. Guess this'll have to suffice as a moral victory. I was so hoping Bernie would remember he was 68 while chasing down Guch's hit, but he dashed our hopes and kept Brian from coming home. Sigh.
