Game 83 Preview

Rodrigo Lopez 5-9, 6.32 for the O's

vs.

Jose Contreras 8-0, 3.54 for the ChiSox

I'm looking for the good pitching performance we were talking about from The Count. Let's see if Coop's adjustments really pan out and help him return to his pre-DL form.

Remember any readers, not just me, DickDaStick, Jonathon Kelley, and James can put up their pick to click! Just post it as a comment.

Thanks James for putting up the preview the other day. I spent my break watching the game, so I didn't have time to post about it until now.

Jonathon Kelley's PtC today is Joe Crede

Mine is Anderson if he is in, if he's out then JD.

Hey, I already picked Crede! I guess we don't have a rule saying whether you can pick someone already picked, do we? Unfortunately, it's a proven fact that if two people pick the same PtC, that person will go out of the game with an injury. So, I say we establish a rule.

No matter though. Not only does thecount win with his Juan "17 RBI in the last 7 games" Uribe pick, but his namesake gets player of the game!

Mack had a bit of a fit out there at 3rd, which just goes to show how valuable Crede is for us on D. I will say that Pods had a good game out in left -- I think he did a gut check recently and will be better for the rest of the season. We really do have a fine defense when everyone's clicking, but NO MORE INJURIES!

Big ups to the team in general, for a dominating performance. Tomorrow is crucial for Jon to have another decent start, because it looks like they got a strikeout pitcher in, and it could be tight. Hope we can get a high pitch count early even if we don't score a lot. Let's get to that bullpen.
