Game 141 Preview

Paul Byrd 9-7, 4.78

vs.

Freddy "Big Game" Garcia 13-9, 5.10

The Indians own us. They've won 8 of 13 games so far this season. That's a trend we desperately need to reverse. Of all our pitchers, Freddy is the only one who hasn't had a good start recently. All our other guys have given us a glimmer of hope that they may rebound and pitch like they did last year (or for Javy like he did back in Montreal). Could today be the day that Freddy brings is? I doubt it, but I can still hope.

I'm going with Thome against his former club as my pick to click.

Let's seem some picks!

If we don't win tonight there will be a lot of dead people in Chicago tonight.

Paulie will be the man tonight.

I'm ready for some good news. Now Crede's out until Saturday, with offseason back surgery a possibility. This isn't looking good. Even w/ those 3 games against the Twinks to finish the season, we're in trouble. 2 of those 3 will be against Santana and Liriano. We need to get the Wild Card lead back pronto!

Jenks is looking to surrender the lead. Back to back doubles have once again shaved a run off the Sox lead in the 9th.

And Jenks does surrender the lead, badly. 4 consecutive doubles. And we trail 6-5.

This could be the official first nail in the coffin.

I got a fantasy football draft in the morning, so I'm in for the duration (and like I said, my liver is taking a sabbatical).

Tomorrow is a very busy day, just like you said.
