Game 34 Preview
Jon Garland 2-1, 6.05 for the Pale Hose
vs.
Johann Santana 3-3, 3.69 for the Twinkies
Santana was originally scheduled to pitch over the weekend, probably against Buehrle or Vazquez, but the Twins shuffled their rotation around, and now he's matched up against Garland. It's a shame we didn't get one of the other matchups, but this may be good for Jon. We might not get the pitching duel we should have gotten with Santana vs Buehrle, but maybe Jon will show his penchant for raising his play to the level of the competition.
This is a four game set, and I don't think asking for 3 out of 4 is asking for too much against the punchless Twins.
By the way, I won't be home til tomorrow afternoon, so DICKdaSTICK, could you pick up on the recap? If not, I'll watch the tape and do it tomorrow.
