I think another hot start will be important tonight -- we're facing a left hander and have our B team on defense: Cintron at short, Mack at center, Gload in right. And of course, Pods in left. Yoiks!
A win tonight would also be big because Padilla is the last righty we'll face for awhile ... the next three starts will be against lefties!
Sorry, Jeeves, I can't make the commitment to posting on the blog. I just don't get to watch enough games. But I will try to keep commenting....
As for the "other category" I like the "big ups" ... could include unusual picks like "the bullpen" or Ozzie or "the bottom of the order" or someone who hits a runner over in the 2nd, takes a walk in the 4th, and has a 12 pitch fly out in the 6th that causes the starter to have to come out of the game.
My pick tonight is for Thomer to tie Yaz on the all-time list.
