Scoring Summary

Baker pitched a scoreless first for the Twins.
Freddy pitched a perfect inning.

Mackowiak led off the second with a double. Uribe flied out, Mackowiak tagged to third. Widger singled, scoring Mackowiak. 1-0 Sox. Podsednik hit a 2 run shot (no not a typo), scoring behind Widger. 3-0 Sox.
Hunter led off with a single. Cuddyer followed with a single, Hunter to third. Cuddyer stole second. Morneau hit a sac fly, scoring Hunter. 3-1 Sox.

Both teams were held scoreless in the third.

Widger led off the fourth with a solo homer. 4-1 Sox.
Hunter led off the inning with a solo shot. 4-2 Sox.

Crede singled in the fifth. Mackowiak followed with a single. Uribe grounded into a fielder's choice, Crede to third. Widger singled, scoring Crede. 5-2 Sox. Eyre came on in relief to record the final out.
Freddy pitched a 1-2-3 inning.

Pods led off the sixth with a double. Thome was intentionally walked. Paulie was hit by a pitch, loading the bases. Crede hit a sac fly, scoring Podsednik. 6-2 Sox. Reyes came on with two outs to close the inning.

Reyes pitched a perfect seventh.
Ford led off with a single and stole second. Punto grounded out, Ford advanced to third. Stewart singled, scoring Ford. 6-3 Sox. Cotts recorded the last out of the inning.

Both teams were held scoreless in the eighth.

Crede led off the ninth with a homer off of Nathan. 7-3 Sox
Politte pitched a perfect inning to close out the game.

Sox win 7-3!
