Brian's Hitting Woes

Check out this link

It seems Ozzie is beginning to get a little frustrated with Anderson.

"it's getting to the point where I don't want him to be embarrassed," Guillen said."It's not an easy situation for him or for me," Guillen said. "I want it for him. But in the meanwhile, we're not building. This is not the Instructional League. This team is built to win as many games as we can. Right now it doesn't seem uglier because we're winning."On the other side, I cannot say if Anderson doesn't hit, we're not going to win. That's not fair either. We don't care if [he hits] .300, but we need better at-bats. He's not getting good at-bats right now."

To Ozzie's credit, he doesn't throw Brian under the bus, but this is still the first time that Oz hasn't shown full confidence in him. Maybe he's using this as a motivation technique.

I don't know why more light isn't being shed on Juna Uribe's struggles at the plate. He's done just about as poorly as Anderson. I supposed part of the reason is the fact that he's an established player and he plays at SS, a position historically not known for its offense.

When we start getting solid production out of the 8 and 9 spot, we're going to be a fearsome team.
